This is a special category. Along with an image representing SIGN, we also asked that Scavengers write their own Alt Text. The alt text was not judged, but it hopefully showed how simple it can be to do, and encourage people to include it when posting images online.

One change made to the albums was to add an underlay to the description, since in many cases the text was much much longer and spilling onto the image in Lightbox view. This made it hard to read the text as no single color text will be clear on all the different colors of the images. To toggle the info on and off click on the "i" button in bottom center of the Lightbox. We do encourage reading the Alt Text! It's a great way to learn how to improve writing your own, but we also want sighted people to see the complete images.

The alt text can also be seen by hovering over each image in the grid view.
